What this site is, and what it is not
Short, because there is not much to it. You send the car details, we call you with a price range, and nothing is binding until it is signed.
Who you are dealing with
EV Car Buyers is a trading name of VENUS & MARS CORPORATION PTY. LTD., ABN 58 110 063 155, ACN 110 063 155. We buy electric and plug in hybrid vehicles from private sellers across Australia.
A price range is not an offer
The range you are given on the phone is based on what you have told us about the car. It is not an offer to buy and it is not a contract. The price is confirmed at the inspection, once someone has seen the car and read the battery state of health.
Nothing is binding until it is signed
If you accept the price, the sale is documented in a contract of sale and the usual transfer paperwork, signed on your phone. Until that is signed, either side can walk away and neither of us owes the other anything.
Finance and novated lease payouts
Where there is money owing on the car, we obtain the payout figure from your financier and pay it directly. If the payout is more than the car is worth, we tell you the shortfall in writing before anything is signed, and you decide from there.
What you are telling us
We price the car on what you tell us about it, so please tell us the truth about the kilometres, the condition and anything owing on it. If the car is materially different at the inspection, the price changes.
