Sell your Mazda, whatever is still owing on it.

Plenty of the Mazdas we are asked about still have a loan on them, and some owe more than the car is worth. That is ordinary here.

We get the payout figure from your financier, pay it directly, put any shortfall in writing before you sign, and pay you by bank transfer the same day.

Step 1 of 2

What is your Mazda worth?

Start with the car. Takes about a minute.

Overall condition

No obligation. We call you back with a real price range.

A car seen from behind on a dark road, violet and blue light streaks running past it

The two with pages

Start on the page for the Mazda you actually have

Sell your Mazda CX-60 PHEV
Driven two ways, on the battery around town and on petrol for the long trips, and the mix is the first thing we ask about. That page is about how it was driven, not how far.
Sell your Mazda 2 Hybrid
Often the second car in a household that is going down to one. That page is about the small car with the short history and whose name is on it.

The full Mazda list

Every Mazda we buy, grouped by what it actually is

Four kinds of Mazda in one list, and most of it wears a letter rather than a word.

Battery electric

  • MX-30

Plug in hybrid

Mild hybrid

  • Mazda3 M Hybrid
  • CX-30 M Hybrid
  • CX-5 M Hybrid
  • CX-60 M Hybrid
  • CX-70 M Hybrid
  • CX-80 M Hybrid
  • CX-90 M Hybrid

The MX-30 has no page of its own, and neither does the CX-80 PHEV or any of the M Hybrids: the Mazda3 M Hybrid, the CX-30 M Hybrid, the CX-5 M Hybrid, the CX-60 M Hybrid, the CX-70 M Hybrid, the CX-80 M Hybrid and the CX-90 M Hybrid. All of them are cars we buy. Pick the name off the list in the form, add the year and the kilometres, and the call covers everything else.

The letter on most of those badges is the thing owners ask about first. If the spec sheet said M Hybrid, the car is in the list above and it is appraised the way everything else on it is appraised. You do not have to work out what kind of hybrid you own before you call.

Money still owing

Selling before the loan is done is the usual way, not the awkward one

Owners apologise for the finance as if they had brought us a problem. A loan is a line on the paperwork, and the payout is a number we ask for.

A loan on the car changes the order things happen in, and nothing else. We ask who the finance is with and roughly what is owing before anyone drives out, because the payout figure decides whether there is a balance coming to you or a shortfall to cover, and you should know which of those it is before you are standing next to the car with a pen in your hand.

If the figure the financier gives us is bigger than the offer, the difference comes to you in writing first, and nothing moves until you have read it and said yes. If it is smaller, the balance is yours. A novated lease through your employer is the same job with one more phone call in it, and we make that call. None of this needs you to find the money first and wait to be reimbursed.

The appraisal itself does not know about the loan. We come to your home or work, look at the whole car, and make a firm offer at the car. Then we pay the financier directly and pay you by bank transfer the same day, with the contract and the transfer signed on your phone. Whether the car is a plug in, the small hybrid or one of the M Hybrids, that is the sale.

Two questions

Two things Mazda owners want settled first

I owe more on the Mazda than it is worth. Can you still buy it?

Yes. We pay the financier the payout figure and you cover the difference, and you see that difference in writing before anything is signed. Plenty of sellers are in that position and it does not change the appraisal or the offer.

Which Mazdas do you actually buy?

Every one on the list on this page, from the electric MX-30 to the plug ins to the M Hybrids with the letter on the badge. Two have pages because two were written first, nothing more. Pick yours from the list in the form and the call goes the same way.

Tell us which Mazda it is and who the finance is with. We handle the payout and pay you the same day.
