Sell your Subaru, wherever the road ran out.
If your Subaru has spent part of its life off the bitumen, on a farm track, a forestry road or the drive to the snow, you are not the exception among the Subarus we are asked about.
We drive out to where the car is, look at the whole of it including the parts the gravel reached, make a firm offer at the car and pay by bank transfer the same day.
- We buy the whole Subaru range

The two with pages
Start on the page for the Subaru you actually have
- Sell your Subaru Forester Hybrid
- The one the dog rode in. That page is about a car that carried animals, kids and the camping gear, and why none of it is a verdict.
- Sell your Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid
- Often the first car somebody has ever sold. That page is about what to have ready and what happens, from the seller side of it.
The full Subaru list
Every Subaru we buy, grouped by what it actually is
One electric car, three hybrids and three e-Boxers, and nothing in the list takes a plug except the Solterra.
Battery electric
- Solterra
Hybrid
- Forester Hybrid
- Crosstrek Hybrid
- XV Hybrid
Mild hybrid
- Forester e-Boxer
- Crosstrek e-Boxer
- Outback e-Boxer
The Solterra, the XV Hybrid, the Forester e-Boxer, the Crosstrek e-Boxer and the Outback e-Boxer have no page of their own yet. We buy every one of them. Two nameplates appear twice in that list, once as a Hybrid and once as an e-Boxer, and if you are not sure which yours is, read the badge on the back and tell us the words. We sort out the rest on the call.
Nothing here takes a plug except the one electric car, so for most Subaru owners there is no charging lead to find and no wall box to talk about. The questions are about where the car has been and what it has carried, and those are the two things a Subaru owner can answer without looking anything up.
Where it has been
A car that left the bitumen is appraised for where it went, not marked down for going
Gravel leaves evidence. Stone chips, a dusty underside, a scratch down the flank from a gate. We look at it and price what we find.
Some cars never leave the suburb. Of the cars we are asked about, the Subarus are the ones most likely to have been somewhere: the farm it was bought for, the ski road every winter, a week of corrugations on a holiday nobody regrets. That life leaves marks in predictable places, and the honest thing to do with them is look at them rather than assume the worst from a postcode.
What gravel does is specific. Stone chips on the leading edges, a windscreen that may have taken one, tyres that have worked harder than the kilometres say, and an underside that tells the truth about where the car has been. None of it decides whether there is an offer. It decides where the person who comes out spends their time, and a seller who says it up front gets a shorter visit and a figure that does not move on the day.
We drive out to where the car is, which for a Subaru is sometimes a long way from our yard. Where you are decides how we get to you and when, and anything that bears on the offer is said on the first call rather than at the car. Then we make a firm offer at the car, settle any finance directly with the financier, and pay by bank transfer the same day, with the paperwork signed on your phone wherever the car happens to be.
Two questions
Two things Subaru owners want settled first
The car has lived on a dirt road. Will that go against it?
It changes where we look, not whether we buy. Tell us on the call and the person who comes out starts with the underside, the tyres and the glass. What they find is priced, and nothing is assumed from the address.
Mine says e-Boxer, not Hybrid. Is it on your list?
Yes. The Forester, Crosstrek and Outback e-Boxers are all in the list above, and they are bought the same way as the Hybrids. Read us the badge and we take it from there.
Tell us where the Subaru has been. We drive out to it, appraise it and pay the same day.
Or call us on 03 9000 0075 and talk it through first.
